Amy Fitzgerald – Chief Financial Officer
Amy joined The McDowell Agency, Inc. in 1998 as an Accountant. Amy was promoted to Controller in 2013. In 2019 she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Amy’s responsibilities include the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. In addition, she is also in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, compliance and payroll.
Amy is also in charge of Human Resources for the organization. She is responsible to oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between our organization’s management and its employees. Amy earned her BS degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University.
Tim Landsberger – Vice President
Tim joined The McDowell Agency, Inc. team in 2005. He is responsible for implementing sales programs to acquire new clients, developing key company initiatives, building strategic partnerships, advancing product and service offerings, and establishing long-term growth strategies. In addition, Tim and his team are responsible for client satisfaction and retention.
Tim is considered an expert in his field and is frequently requested to speak to organizations in both the public and private sector on the topic of criminal background screening. Tim earned a BS degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he graduated with honors.
Taylor Moses – Director of Operations
Taylor joined The McDowell Agency, Inc. in 2016 as a Court Researcher while working towards her degree in Business Administration online at Southern New Hampshire University, which she completed in April 2017. She was also promoted to Verification Specialist in 2017 where she worked to complete employment and academic verifications. In June of 2018, she was promoted to her current position of Account Manager. In August of 2024, she was promoted to Director of Operations. Taylor is licensed under The McDowell Agency, Inc. as a private investigator. Taylor and her team are responsible for client satisfaction as well as providing phone and online customer service.
Taylor and husband recently added a baby daughter Breida to their family which also includes three dogs.
Claudia Watson – Lead Record Researcher
Claudia joined The McDowell Agency, Inc. in 2018 is a part-time Court Researcher. In 2019 she was promoted to Senior Record Researcher. By the end of 2019 she was promoted to lead the Record Research department at The McDowell Agency, as the Lead Record Researcher. Claudia and her team are responsible for accessing and navigating various public record databases to locate relevant information, including criminal records and court filings. They conduct comprehensive research using available public records to gather details of potential criminal records. While understanding and applying state and federal public records laws to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data access restrictions. In 2021, Claudia added the additional responsibility of managing international clients as well as the processing of international background checks.
Claudia graduated from Minneapolis Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree in criminal justice in May of 2018. She lives in the twin cities metro area with her children Mekhi and Makayla.
